School Pictures
The kids got their school pictures back last week. I’m creating this post with Windows Live Writer, one of the components of Windows Live Essentials 2011 which released a couple of weeks ago. Live Writer has been around for a while now in earlier versions but I never got around to trying it. I must say, so far it’s pretty cool and certainly easier than using the Blogger tools directly. We’ll see what happens when I actually click “publish” though…
Another great component of Windows Live Essentials is Live Mesh, which is fantastic if you’ve got computers scattered all over (home, work, etc.) and want to keep files in sync, or remotely access the desktop of a computer that’s located where you are not. It’s been available in beta form for a year or so, but is now actually released. Oh and did I mention that all of the above is free?
Back to the kids, all of their school pictures for years K through present, are still located here.
